Howdy neighbors! Here at Shooting Star Pix, we have one mission. Commemorate your high school graduation in a uniquely beautiful photo and in a more affordable way. Let us help you celebrate by making the momentous occasion of graduation a cherished, preserved memory. Such a milestone as this should be savored by each Collin County student. As our two lovely students graced the halls of several McKinney ISD schools, we reflected on the experience and wanted to capture those memories in a festive way. So, we thought we would extend this same service to our community. Let us help you, by memorializing your senior moment!

When you book with us, here are some things to remember...

Weather
As of now, all of our photo sessions are done on location. So, be mindful of weather. Bring a jacket or something to keep warm or something to keep cool like a bottle of water, wet wipes, or sunshades to keep eyes from tearing in between pictures. We may need to reschedule if weather is inclement.

Art
Photography is an artform. Each photo session is unique and specialized just for you in that particular moment in time. We can share your ideas of what you would like to be portrayed in your photos.

Skin, Teeth, Hair, Make-up
Healthy skin, teeth, and hair are desirable at any and all stages of our lives. These are things that can enhance your photos as well as your daily life. If you are experiencing some issues, consider seeing a professional prior to your session. But here are some low cost tips that you might consider.

Brush with baking soda to remove superficial stains. Gargle with peroxide. Floss between teeth so gums look healthy and tight, not swollen, spongy, and red.

Try a facial wash system (cleanser, toner, and moisturizer) suited for your skin. A good low cost remedy for acne prone skin is the Neutrogena Rapid Clear system of products.

For women, I do suggest using either a powder or base at a minimum for an even, finished look. Experiment with hairstyles and make-up prior to your session so you know what look(s) will compliment your beauty.

Consider taking an antihistamine if you are prone to seasonal allergies. This may help with red or puffy eyes and runny noses.
